Painted in professional polymer acrylic on wonderful quality stretched canvas with an oak frame made by a terrific local canvas and framing business.

I wanted to create an artwork that is uplifting and joyful. My elderly mother-in-law loved it when she saw it and told me it looks "so alive". I used her exclamation as the name.

As with most of my abstract paintings I start with a feeling and see where the painting takes me. It's always intriguing what comes forth and what the painting tells me it needs. It's quite intuitive work.
